We have all been eagerly awaiting Tarantino’s next project. Well the master of dialogue is back with the spaghetti western epic Django Unchanined. Tarantino has made no secret for his love of the old westerns by Sergio Leone, in particular the Good The Bad and The Ugly has been quoted as one of his favourites.

Set in the Deep South, the film tells the story of a slave named Django (Jamie Foxx) bought by former dentist Dr King Schultz (Christopher Waltz) with the purposes of training him to be his deputy bounty hunter. Django agrees to this if Schultz will help him find and rescue his wife Broomhila (Kerry Washington). Broomhilda is now owned by the ruthless Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio), who owns Candyland; A plantation where male slaves are trained to fight like gladiators, and females forced into prostitution.

This film has an impressive cast, look out for Samuel L.Jackson, and even Tarantino himself.

Django Unchained is released in the UK on 10th January 2013. A Review will follow.
